Elderkin Attorney James Richardson was elected to the Officers’ line of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at the Chapter’s July 9, 2015 Annual Meeting.
Founded in 1962, the focus of the Academy is to promote professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. The purpose of the Chapter is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the cause of matrimonial law, to the end that the welfare of the family and society be preserved. Membership in the Academy requires a substantial level of broad-based experience in all facets of the fields of matrimonial law and litigation, including divorce, annulment, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Post-Nuptial Agreements, Marital Settlement Agreements, child custody and visitation, business valuations, property evaluations and divisions, retirement benefit valuations and divisions, alimony, spousal support, child support, and other family law related issues.
